ISLAMABAD: Senator Faisal Vawda a direct warning to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying that the government\u2019s response would begin from 4 December (Today), and those \u201cchallenging the state\u201d would face immediate consequences.<\/strong><\/p>\n Speaking in ARY News\u2019 programme Eleventh Hour<\/em>, Vawda said that if PTI continued what he described as confrontational politics, the authorities would have \u201cno option left but to impose Governor\u2019s Rule,\u201d adding that action would not remain limited to arrests.<\/p>\n According to Faisal Vawda, \u201cfrom Thursday onward,\u201d PTI would see a clear shift in the government\u2019s posture, warning that those involved in provoking unrest would be \u201cdragged in\u201d and dealt with strictly.<\/p>\n Faisal Vawda also claimed that arrangements were underway to act against individuals abroad who, according to him, were \u201cinciting political disorder,\u201d saying their \u201cpulse can be pressed in many ways even if they cannot be brought back.\u201d<\/p>\n Vawda stated that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister would not meet the PTI founder on coming Wednesday, citing a high court order that bars the use of provincial machinery for political meetings. He maintained that family visits were allowed, but political discussions inside the prison would not be permitted.<\/p>\n He also said that lawyers could meet the PTI founder strictly for case-related matters, not for political strategy.<\/p>\n In a series of harsh remarks, Vawda accused PTI\u2019s current leadership of \u201cingratitude,\u201d saying that when the PTI founder was rising politically, \u201cwe were the ones standing with him in Karachi when he could not even set foot here.\u201d<\/p>\n He said that during his time with the party, he had always respected the PTI founder and learned from him, adding that he was expelled \u201cfor his well-being.\u201d<\/p>\n Faisal Vawda also criticised the social media account operating in PTI\u2019s name, saying the people behind it \u201cdid not have the courage to name him directly.\u201d He said he was unaware who was running the account and termed them \u201cpolitical orphans.\u201d<\/p>\n He alleged that KP was still sheltering suspects involved in the May 9 incidents and said the state would take action. According to him, those cases would now be taken to their \u201clogical conclusion.\u201d<\/p>\n Vawda added that Governor\u2019s Rule, if imposed, would \u201cnot last merely two months\u201d and would continue as long as needed.<\/p>\n Faisal Vawda defended the military, saying Pakistan Army had defeated \u201ca much larger enemy\u201d and continued to make sacrifices. He accused PTI of targeting the institution to \u201cappear strong,\u201d warning that such behaviour would result in a severe response.<\/p>\n He said that if anyone crossed \u201cred lines,\u201d their \u201ctongue would be pulled out,\u201d and those challenging the military leadership would face strict consequences.<\/p>\n Vawda asserted that, as of now, \u201cthere is no possibility\u201d of the PTI founder being allowed back into mainstream politics.<\/p>\n He claimed that despite facilitating an earlier meeting \u201cwith a good heart,\u201d PTI resumed what he called \u201cabusive behaviour,\u201d after which, according to him, the state had decided to respond firmly.<\/p>\n Faisal Vawda said notifications related to the CDF and administrative changes were in process and could be issued \u201cwithin 72 hours.\u201d He added that a new secretariat would be formed with rules and appointments soon.<\/p>\n He claimed that PTI, which \u201cboasts of 4.5 crore supporters,\u201d could not even gather 4,500 people, saying the party was \u201cmaking noise now, but from Thursday their drum will beat.\u201d<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
