DHAKA: Bangladeshi pacer Taskin Ahmed has the support of legendary Pakistani pacer Shoaib Akhtar to surpass his long-standing record for the fastest delivery in international cricket.<\/strong><\/p>\n Shoaib Akhtar has the unbreakable record for the fastest ball ever, clocking 161.3 kmph during the 2003 World Cup versus England.<\/p>\n Shoaib Akhtar, 50, is presently in Bangladesh for the first time as a mentor with the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Dhaka Capitals.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve never been part of the BPL before, but I\u2019ve heard that it\u2019s doing great,\u201d the renowned Pakistani hero states.<\/p>\n \u201cFinally, I had the opportunity to come here and be a part of it. I want to pass on whatever I\u2019ve learned, especially about fast bowling, motivate the players, give them a few tricks to win matches, and elevate their mindset,\u201d Akhtar remarked.<\/p>\n However, Taskin Ahmed would be a direct deal for the Dhaka Capitals, permitting Akhtar the chance to coach one of Bangladesh\u2019s most promising fast bowlers.<\/p>\n \u201cI want Taskin [Ahmed] to break my speed record,\u201d he continued with desire.<\/p>\n In fact, alongside Taskin, the world\u2019s fastest pacer also lauded Nahid Raha, among Bangladesh\u2019s fastest bowlers.<\/p>\n \u201cI have so far seen that in Taskin.
