Taylor Swift has once again proven her influence in Hollywood, as her 2017 hit I Did Something Bad<\/em> plays over the end credits of Sydney Sweeney\u2019s latest thriller, The Housemaid.<\/em><\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n Director Paul Feig revealed that getting Swift\u2019s approval for the song left him pleasantly surprised.<\/span><\/p>\n During an interview with Deadline<\/em> at the project\u2019s Hollywood premiere on Monday, the 63-year-old filmmaker admitted he initially doubted Swift would approve the song\u2019s usage.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWell, that\u2019s the thing; you want to put a Taylor song in your movie, but she and her company have to approve it,\u201d he shared. <\/span><\/p>\n Paul Feig went on say, \u201cSo, we were tempting with it, and we were like, \u2018It\u2019s so perfect, but she\u2019s never gonna clear this.\u2019 Then we showed she and her people the movie, and she approved it. So, I guess she likes it. Thank you, Taylor!\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n Sweeney \u2013 who plays the lead role in The Housemaid<\/em> \u2013 also expressed her take on Swift\u2019s song being played at the very end of the movie. <\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s so perfect,\u201d the Euphoria<\/em> actress recently told People. <\/span><\/p>\n While, her co-star Amanda Seyfried added, \u201cWe saw it before it was fully confirmed,\u201d as Sweeney chimed in, \u201cAnd we were like, \u2018We can\u2019t lose this!\u2019 We were like, \u2018You have to keep this!\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
