The video was addressed to their missing mother and the individual who may have abducted her from her home in Tucson, Arizona.<\/p>\n The 84-year-old\u2019s disappearance on February 1 has sparked both a police inquiry and a widespread public outcry.<\/p>\n \u201cOur mom is our heart and our home. Her health\u2014her heart\u2014is fragile. She lives in constant pain. She is without her medicine; she needs it to survive. She needs it not to suffer,\u201d Savannah Guthrie stated in the video message.<\/p>\n The family also addressed media claims regarding ransom notes. Savannah emphasized that before negotiations continue, there must be \u201cproof of life.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe too have heard the reports about a ransom letter in the media. As a family, we are doing everything we can. We are ready to talk. However, we live in a world where voices and images are easily manipulated. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos confirmed that Nancy\u2019s home has been designated a crime scene and DNA samples have been collected.<\/p>\n In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Nanos stated, \u201cAt this point, investigators have not identified a suspect or person of interest,\u201d adding that officials are currently interviewing anyone who may have recently communicated with her.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/blockquote>\n
