{"id":66653,"date":"2026-08-24T04:11:12","date_gmt":"2026-08-24T04:11:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/66653"},"modified":"2026-08-24T04:11:21","modified_gmt":"2026-08-24T04:11:21","slug":"pti-files-contempt-plea-in-supreme-court","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/66653","title":{"rendered":"PTI files contempt plea in Supreme Court"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div style=\"font-size:16px;line-height:1.6\">\n<p><strong>ISLAMABAD: The PTI on Saturday filed a contempt of court petition in the Supreme Court over not shifting the party\u2019s founder to the hospital on the court\u2019s order.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) in a plea sought contempt proceedings over alleged violation of the apex court\u2019s August 18 order.<\/p>\n<p>Petitioner requested to the court to issue show cause notices to those committed contempt of the court.<\/p>\n<p>In petition, the court asked to summon those responsible for contempt in their personal capacity and punish them according to the law.<\/p>\n<p>The court has also been pleaded to issue orders for immediate shifting of the founder of the PTI to Shifa International Hospital for his medical examination.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA judicial officer or the local commission should be appointed for compliance of the order,\u201d the court requested in the plea.<\/p>\n<p>PTI\u2019s Aziz Bhandari and Salman Akram Raja have filed the petition in the supreme court.<\/p>\n<p>Talking with the media outside the court Salman Akram Raja said that the contempt of the court has been clear. \u201cA false narrative of rush was orchestrated deliberately,\u201d the lawyer said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will not be silenced and raise our voice for justice at every level,\u201d Raja said.<\/p>\n<p>He said the contempt of court petition has been filed, hopefully a decision will be taken according to the constitution and the law.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/arynews.tv\/founders-hospital-shifting-pti-files-contempt-plea-supreme-court\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The PTI on Saturday filed a contempt of court petition in the Supreme Court over not shifting the party\u2019s founder to the hospital on the court\u2019s order.
