Pakistan has offered to share its experience and expertise with Bangladesh in legal reforms and the digitalization of the justice system, Federal Minister for Law & Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar said.<\/strong><\/p>\n Law Minister made these remarks during a meeting with Bangladesh\u2019s High Commissioner to Pakistan, Md Iqbal Hussain Khan, in Islamabad.<\/p>\n The two sides discussed Pakistan-Bangladesh bilateral relations, legal and judicial cooperation, mediation and reconciliation mechanisms, and other matters of mutual interest.<\/p>\n Tarar said there was considerable scope for greater cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the fields of law and justice.<\/p>\n He said both countries could benefit from each other\u2019s experiences in legal reforms, use of modern technology and digitalization of the justice system.<\/p>\n The minister also stressed the importance of exchanging expertise to help make the justice systems in both countries more effective.<\/p>\n The Bangladeshi envoy thanked Pakistan for facilitating the training of Bangladeshi judges at the International Mediation & Arbitration Centre (IMAC).<\/p>\n He also praised the cooperation provided by Pakistan\u2019s Ministry of Law and Justice in mediation and reconciliation programs.<\/p>\n Md Iqbal Hussain Khan said Bangladesh was interested in learning from Pakistan\u2019s experience in mediation and reconciliation and wanted to expand cooperation in the area.<\/p>\n Both sides expressed satisfaction with recent improvements in Pakistan-Bangladesh relations and agreed on the need to strengthen bilateral ties.<\/p>\n The meeting also discussed legal reforms, use of modern technology in the justice system, mediation and reconciliation mechanisms, exchange of experiences and further opportunities for cooperation in other fields.<\/p>\n Both sides welcomed increased people-to-people and institutional contacts, describing the development as encouraging for further strengthening Pakistan-Bangladesh bilateral relations, and reaffirmed their commitment to further consolidating cooperation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
