ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan has summoned the IG Police Sindh over delay in registration of murder FIR in province.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThere is no concept of punishment in Sindh,\u201d Justice Hashim Kakar while hearing a case remarked. \u201cSindh Police itself facilitating release of people,\u201d Justice Kakar further said.<\/p>\n

Justice Salahuddin Panhwar said that the situation has been worse in Sukkur and Larkana.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn this case the FIR was registered two days after the murder,\u201d Justice Kakar said. \u201cPolice avoid registering a case in most of the incidents,\u201d he further said.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven the animals not being treated like this,\u201d the Justice remarked.<\/p>\n

The bench ordered the IG Sindh to appear before the court in person in the next hearing.<\/p>\n

The court also summoned the Advocate General Sindh and the DIG Sukkur Police.<\/p>\n

The bench directed the lawyers for further preparation of the case and adjourned hearing until September 17.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
