The panel of chair directed that bells be rung for five minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Power outages have increased from Lahore to other parts of Punjab amid a rise in the country\u2019s electricity shortfall.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, load shedding continues across Punjab. Residents in Lahore said electricity is being switched off for one hour after every one hour.<\/p>\n<p>Sources said the shortfall faced by LESCO has crossed 1,200 megawatts, while the country\u2019s overall electricity shortfall has exceeded 4,000 megawatts.<\/p>\n<p>Sources said the shortfall remains relatively lower during the day due to solar power generation, with around 7,000 megawatts of electricity being generated from solar sources daily.<\/p>\n<p>According to NTDC sources, electricity generation from several power plants has declined.
