His appointment as PIMS Executive Director has been made on deputation for a period of three years.<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"entry-content-asset videofit\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Islamabad: Officers Suspended Following Inquiry Into PIMS Incident, Notification Issued\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IG7cblom4s8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, PIMS ENT specialist Dr. Altaf has been appointed as Joint Executive Director.<\/p>\n<p>The appointments follow Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif\u2019s approval on Saturday for the suspension of eight officials in connection with the PIMS incident, including the hospital\u2019s Executive Director, Professor Dr. Imran Sikandar.<\/p>\n<p>Those suspended include PIMS Executive Director Professor Dr. Imran Sikandar, Joint Executive Directors Dr. Mutahir Shah and Dr. Owais Shah, and Neonatal Department head Professor Dr. Saadia Riaz.<\/p>\n<p>Senior Registrar Dr. Naghma, Dr. Noshila Amjad, PIMS Assistant Director Security Muhammad Usman and CDA Emergency Services Director General Dr. Abdul Rehman were also suspended.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting also approved action against the security company responsible for providing services at the hospital and its officials.<\/p>\n<p>In recognition of her efforts to save a child\u2019s life while putting her own safety at risk, the prime minister also approved the conferment of the Sitara-e-Khidmat on the nurse involved in the rescue.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/arynews.tv\/pims-fire-officials-suspended-new-executive-director-appointed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The notification regarding the suspension of officers held responsible following an inquiry into the PIMS fire incident has been issued, ARY News reported.
