Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq have been dropped from Pakistan\u2019s Test squad following the team\u2019s poor performance on the ongoing tour of England.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to sources, Mohammad Rizwan is set to be sent back to Pakistan on the first available flight due to his disappointing performances.<\/p>\n

Investigations are also underway into Imam-ul-Haq\u2019s injury, and a decision has reportedly been made to send him back home as well.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has called up six players to Birmingham, including Saim Ayub, Arafat Minhas and Abdullah Fazal.<\/p>\n

Sources further said that Mike Hesson has been entrusted with handling all team matters during the Birmingham Test.
England Outclass Pakistan at Lord\u2019s<\/p>\n

England also defeated Pakistan in the Lord\u2019s Test, completing a dominant performance against the visitors.<\/p>\n

On the fourth day, England were bowled out for 208 in their second innings, setting Pakistan a target of 389 runs for victory. However, Pakistan\u2019s batting line-up collapsed once again, with the team being dismissed for 194.<\/p>\n

Abdullah Shafique was dismissed for a duck, while Mohammad Rizwan scored just one run. Captain Babar Azam and Azaan Awais contributed six runs each, while Shan Masood made 26.<\/p>\n

Saud Shakeel was the standout batter for Pakistan, scoring a fighting 97 runs.<\/p>\n

The victory marked England\u2019s first win over Pakistan at Lord\u2019s in 16 years. With the win, England took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.<\/p>\n

Babar admits Pakistan failed to capitalize on favorable conditions following defeat<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Babar Azam admitted the entire Pakistan side faltered against England, putting down latest defeat to tactical errors and batting collapses, which according to Babar could have easily been avoided given the circumstances of the match.<\/p>\n

Babar gave reporters his perspective following yet another disastrous performance by Pakistan. It is fair to assume he was referring to times, as and when the playing conditions and match favors your way, you have to have an immediate positive reaction to exploit the conditions at your disposal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
