QUETTA: Two terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted by security forces in Washuk district of Balochistan, security sources said on Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the sources, the operation was carried out in the Palantak area of Washuk as part of ongoing efforts to eliminate militants linked to Fitna al-Hindustan (FAH).<\/p>\n

The two terrorists killed in the operation were involved in attacks on the Mashkhel Police Station and the Customs House, the sources said.<\/p>\n

The terrorists\u2019 vehicle was also destroyed during the operation, while a large quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the site, according to security sources.<\/p>\n

The sources further stated that the recovered weapons and ammunition were intended for use in targeted killings of civilians and further terrorist activities in Balochistan.<\/p>\n

Security forces will continue operations against militants in the province until the threat is eliminated, the sources added.<\/p>\n

Balochistan announces rewards for wanted women<\/h2>\n

Earlier, the Balochistan government announced rewards of up to Rs1.5 million for information leading to the identification or arrest of nine wanted women allegedly linked to Fitna al-Hindustan.<\/p>\n

According to the provincial government, the women are from Gwadar, Jiwani and Turbat and are allegedly involved in activities aimed at disrupting peace and stability in the province.<\/p>\n

The government announced a reward of Rs1 million for information leading to the identification or arrest of eight of the women, while a reward of Rs1.5 million was announced for information about Azizan.<\/p>\n

The wanted women have been identified as Hanifan Bibi, Ayesha, Ruqayya, Hafsa, Zahra, Amina Bani, Zarmeen, Iqra and Azizan.<\/p>\n

Authorities alleged that the women were involved in activities aimed at creating unrest in Balochistan and were being used to influence and recruit other women for such activities.<\/p>\n

The government urged citizens with credible information about the wanted individuals to share it with the relevant authorities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
