Liverpool have signed France forward Bradley Barcola from European champions Paris \u200cSt Germain on a long-term contract, the Premier League club said on Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n British media reported that the 23-year-old had signed a five-year deal in a package worth around \u00a3120 million ($162 million).<\/p>\n \u201cIt took \u200ba long time but I\u2019m really happy today to be able to play \u200bfor Liverpool and all I want is to be on the \u2060pitch and be able to play,\u201d Barcola told Liverpool\u2019s website.<\/p>\n A product of Olympique \u200bLyonnais\u2019 academy, Barcola was part of France\u2019s squad at this year\u2019s World Cup and \u200bis known for his pace and dribbling ability.<\/p>\n Barcola joined PSG in 2023 in a deal worth \u20ac45 million ($52 million).<\/p>\n He made 152 appearances for the French club, scoring 39 goals and contributing 37 assists \u200band helping them win back-to-back Champions League titles, three Ligue 1 crowns and \u200btwo French Cups.<\/p>\n Barcola had two years left on his PSG contract but faced stiff competition for \u200ca \u2060starting spot in an attack that includes 2025 Ballon d\u2019Or winner Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Desire Doue and Ferran Torres.<\/p>\n \u201cI hope to achieve very big things.
