{"id":70218,"date":"2026-09-01T14:47:59","date_gmt":"2026-09-01T14:47:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/70218"},"modified":"2026-09-01T14:48:00","modified_gmt":"2026-09-01T14:48:00","slug":"punjab-approves-two-new-pension-schemes-for-employees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/70218","title":{"rendered":"Punjab approves two new pension schemes for employees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div style=\"font-size:16px;line-height:1.6\">\n<p><strong>The Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC) has approved the introduction of two new pension schemes for its employees as part of a broader package of pension reforms.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to details of a key PSIC board meeting, the corporation will seek a loan of Rs.2.5 billion from the Punjab government to finance the required pension liabilities.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting also approved a schedule for auctioning the corporation\u2019s unused properties, alongside several measures aimed at providing relief to industrialists and employees.<\/p>\n<p>The board approved a relief package for allottees of cancelled plots at the \u2018Sundar-II\u2019 Small Industrial Estate.<\/p>\n<p>Under the package, eligible allottees will receive a special 20 per cent discount on their total outstanding dues.<\/p>\n<p>Those benefiting from the relief will be required to complete construction of their factories within six months.
