The city traffic police in Faisalabad, Pakistan, have issued new guidance for motorcycle riders regarding vehicle number plates.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the police, motorcyclists will no longer be charged a fee for a number plate issued by the Excise Department.<\/p>\n

Citizens owned motorcycles can instead have their number plates made themselves, according to the design and specifications set by the Excise Department.<\/p>\n

The number plate must be made of\u00a0white metal, inscribed with\u00a0embossed black letters and numbers\u00a0clearly displayed.<\/p>\n

Police said the approved dimensions are: Long plate:\u00a0205 \u00d7 70mm and square plate:\u00a0200 \u00d7 170mm.<\/p>\n

Motorcycle owners have been advised to ensure their vehicles carry number plates that meet the required size and quality standards.<\/p>\n

The traffic police also urged riders to avoid non-standard number plates and comply with traffic regulations to help ensure safer travel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
