The new update adds a fourth slot, giving users more ways to keep important updates easy to find.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The higher limit is helpful for busy group chats, where important details can get lost in lots of messages. With four slots, groups can pin things like event announcements, meeting places, rules, and schedules. Group admins will still control who can pin messages using the current group settings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>How the feature works:<\/b><span> Pinning a message follows WhatsApp\u2019s standard process:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Tap and hold the message or media file you want to feature.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Select the <\/span><b>Pin<\/b><span> option from the pop-up menu.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Choose how long the message should remain pinned.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>When you pin a message, it appears with the others in a banner at the top of the chat. You can tap the banner to look through all pinned messages whenever you want.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Right now, only some Android beta testers can use the four-message limit as WhatsApp rolls it out slowly.
