HYDERABAD, September 6, 2026: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has called on the Sindh government to accept responsibility or clarify who is behind the digging of trenches, placement of containers and closure of roads during his street movement towards Karachi.<\/strong><\/p>\n Addressing supporters on Hyderabad Road, Sohail Afridi said he would leave for Karachi, the capital of Sindh, after Hyderabad.<\/p>\n He said PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had welcomed him a day earlier, but added that trenches were now being dug on their routes, containers were being placed and roads were being blocked.<\/p>\n Sohail Afridi said the people of Sindh would not accept such treatment of their guests.<\/p>\n \u201cIf the Sindh government is carrying out these actions, it should accept responsibility. If it is not behind them, it should clearly explain who is doing this,\u201d the KP chief minister said.<\/p>\n He said the Sindh government must either take responsibility or provide a clear explanation for the road blockades.<\/p>\n Sohail Afridi also urged supporters to maintain the same enthusiasm and spirit until September 27.<\/p>\n Earlier, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi reached Bannu on a one-day visit for the street movement.<\/p>\n Speaking to workers, CM Sohail Afridi said preparations for the September 27 march must be carried out in the best possible manner.<\/p>\n He said this time they would change both the destiny and history of the country and nation.<\/p>\n Afridi said peace prevailed in KP until 2022, but the situation after that was before everyone. He blamed the current government and those who brought it to power for the destruction of peace.<\/p>\n He said KP had been made an experimental ground for two decades and its people were treated as if they were insignificant.<\/p>\n The chief minister said thousands of lives had been sacrificed for peace in the province. He said decisions taken behind closed doors had destroyed peace and vowed to oppose every decision that went against the province and its people.<\/p>\n Afridi said the KP police force was standing firm for the restoration of peace and protection of the people. He added that the provincial government was providing full support to the police force.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
