{"id":73374,"date":"2026-09-09T07:45:28","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T07:45:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/73374"},"modified":"2026-09-09T07:45:29","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T07:45:29","slug":"phc-hears-plea-seeking-olive-plantation-along-motorways","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/73374","title":{"rendered":"PHC hears plea seeking olive plantation along motorways"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div style=\"font-size:16px;line-height:1.6\">\n<p><strong>PESHAWAR: Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Wednesday heard a petition, seeking olive plantation along motorways.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The high court bench after arguments of lawyers on the petition reserved its verdict.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, petitioner\u2019s lawyer said that various trees have been planted at vacant space along the motorway, suggesting plantation of olive trees on the motorway, \u201cwhich also have a positive impact on the environment\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlanting olive trees would also boost the economy,\u201d petitioner\u2019s lawyer Rehmanullah Shah said. \u201cPakistan has now entered in countries exporting olive oil,\u201d lawyer said.<\/p>\n<p>Additional Advocate General KP in his arguments said that the provincial government has planted trees under the \u2018Billion Tree Tsunami\u201d project under which olive trees have also been planted.
