{"id":73407,"date":"2026-09-09T09:40:33","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T09:40:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/73407"},"modified":"2026-09-09T09:40:35","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T09:40:35","slug":"woman-commits-suicide-after-killing-co-wife-in-charsadda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/73407","title":{"rendered":"Woman commits suicide after killing co-wife in Charsadda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div style=\"font-size:16px;line-height:1.6\">\n<p><strong>CHARSADDA: A woman allegedly killed her co-wife with an axe before committing suicide in the Shabqadar area of Charsadda on Wednesday, police said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to SHO Imran of Khwajawas police station, the incident took place in Daryab Korona following an argument between the two women over a domestic dispute.<\/p>\n<p>The woman allegedly attacked her co-wife with an axe and later jumped into a well, resulting in her death, the SHO said.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the husband of the two women is currently working in Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n<p>The bodies of both women were shifted to Shabqadar Hospital for post-mortem examinations.<\/p>\n<p>Police have launched an investigation to determine the motive and circumstances surrounding the incident.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a class=\"title\" href=\"https:\/\/arynews.tv\/peshawar-girl-acid-incident-marriage-refusal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Peshawar girl arrested for throwing acid on man after marriage refusal<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Last month, Police arrested a woman for allegedly throwing acid at a 26-year-old man and opening fire on him after he refused her marriage proposal in the Chamkani area of Peshawar.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the suspect, identified as Atiqa, was nominated in an FIR registered at Chamkani Police Station and was taken into custody on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>According to the FIR, the victim, identified as Sadiqullah, and Atiqa were both friends. He alleged that Atiqa had been pressuring him to marry her and demanding Rs2.3 million.<\/p>\n<p>Sadiqullah told police that he had refused her demands.
