KARACHI: The burial of eight-year-old Roshan, who was killed in firing by robbers in Manghopir, could not take place even after eight days as police have failed to arrest the killers, ARY News reported.<\/strong><\/p>\n Roshan\u2019s family and residents of the area have continued their protest outside Manghopir Police Station for the eighth consecutive day, demanding the arrest of those responsible for his killing.<\/p>\n Roshan\u2019s father has denied rumours regarding the case and announced that his son would not be buried until the killers are arrested.<\/p>\n \u201cMy son will not be buried until his killers are arrested,\u201d the victim\u2019s father said.<\/p>\n Several rounds of talks between the family and police officials have failed to produce any result. A meeting between Roshan\u2019s father and Karachi Additional Inspector General Azad Khan also remained unsuccessful.<\/p>\n Police said two teams are working to arrest the killers of Roshan and claimed that the suspects would be arrested soon.<\/p>\n The family has maintained its protest and continues to demand immediate action against those responsible for the eight-year-old\u2019s killing.<\/p>\n Earlier, Karachi police suspended the Station House Officer (SHO) of Manghopir following the killing of a 15-year-old youth who resisted a robbery on Monday.<\/p>\n Additional Inspector General (AIG) Karachi, Azad Khan, suspended SHO Raja Zulfiqar over his failure to control rampant crime in the area.<\/p>\n The parents of the deceased teenager, Roshan, staged a sit-in outside the Manghopir Police Station to protest the brutal killing. According to the grieving parents, robbers entered their home on Monday and shot dead their son, who had memorized the Quran.<\/p>\n The victim\u2019s father shared that his son had recently passed his matriculation exams with high marks and was the only brother to his eight sisters. He also alleged that two of the robbers were wearing police uniforms.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
