Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) market closed higher on Thursday, 17 September, 2026, as the benchmark KSE-100 Index rose by 1,021.40 points, or 0.61 percent, to close at 169,043.20, compared with the previous close of 168,021.80.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The index traded between a high of\u00a0169,576.52 and a low of\u00a0168,222.92\u00a0during the session.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Trading activity also increased. Turnover in the regular market reached\u00a0386,368,068 shares, up from 356,137,791 shares in the previous session.<\/p>\n

The traded value rose to approximately\u00a0Rs. 20,091,221,846, compared with Rs. 19,486,786,540 previously. Market capitalization also increased to around\u00a0Rs.18,847,353,485,602, from Rs. 18,721,163,322,643.<\/p>\n

Of the\u00a0500 companies\u00a0traded in the Ready Market,\u00a0296\u00a0recorded transactions. Among them,\u00a0152 stocks gained,\u00a052 declined, while 52 were unchanged.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
