{"id":77379,"date":"2026-09-19T01:41:33","date_gmt":"2026-09-19T01:41:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/77379"},"modified":"2026-09-19T01:41:34","modified_gmt":"2026-09-19T01:41:34","slug":"punjab-issues-medicine-recall-alert-for-several-batches","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/77379","title":{"rendered":"Punjab issues medicine recall alert for several batches"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div style=\"font-size:16px;line-height:1.6\">\n<p><strong>The Punjab government has issued a recall alert for several batches of a medicine after the provincial Drug Testing Laboratory declared the product substandard.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to Public Notice No. 133\/2026, issued by the Directorate of Drug Control Punjab (DDCP), the recall follows findings by the Drug Testing Laboratory, Punjab.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The notice applies to batches 38126, 37826, 37726, and 37926 of film-coated tablets containing Citraclor (Cetirizine Dihydrochloride) 10mg, registered under Reg. No. 085818. All four batches have an expiry date of March 2028.<\/p>\n<p>The manufacturer and distributors have been instructed to immediately recall the affected batches from pharmacies and other points of sale.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities have also been directed to trace the product\u2019s distribution, provide complete distribution details, and submit corrective and preventive action plans to the relevant drug inspectors.<\/p>\n<p>Healthcare providers, pharmacies, wholesalers and distributors have been told to stop dispensing the affected batches and report any remaining stock to local drug inspectors.<\/p>\n<p>Regulatory officials have also been instructed to strengthen surveillance across the pharmaceutical supply chain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/arynews.tv\/punjab-issues-medicine-recall-alert-for-several-batches\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Punjab government has issued a recall alert for several batches of a medicine after the provincial Drug Testing Laboratory declared the product substandard.
