Principal (IGP) Road, Aswal Mor, and Kati Pahari, sources added.<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"entry-content-asset videofit\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Strategy Prepared to Stop Protesters Heading to Islamabad from KP | Breaking News\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wKBNZxJlCOI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the government has decided to erect hurdles and barricades along all primary pathways leading to Islamabad from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.<\/p>\n<p>Jamaat-e-Islami chief Hafiz Naeem ur Reehman on Sunday said that the long march has started, \u201cNow, the government have only way out to provide relief to people\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>JI leader was leading the train march from Karachi Cantt railway station.<\/p>\n<p>The Jamaat\u2019s march has entered in its second phase as hundreds of the party\u2019s activists accompanied to Hafiz Naeem.<\/p>\n<p>Before launching the march to Islamabad, the party ended its protest sit-in at the Press Club Chowk and workers moved to the Cantt railway station.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe protest will only end when the levy\u2019s extortion will be ended,\u201d talking to media JI leader said.<\/p>\n<p>The Jamaat-e-Islami has launched a protest campaign against the Petroleum Development Levy (PDL), with sit-ins across the country, while a long march to Islamabad has been started from today to press for the demand.<\/p>\n<p>Hafiz Naeem said, \u201cno obstacle would stop us\u201d. \u201cIf the extortion levy will continue, our protest would intensify with it\u201d, he warned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is not necessary that the situation remains under control after reaching to Islamabad,\u201d JI chief said.<\/p>\n<p>Hafiz Naeem earlier said that the party has finalized its preparations for the Islamabad March on September 20. \u201cThey are offering Rs 25 billion monthly relief but avoiding to take the levy back,\u201d he said<\/p>\n<p>He said the government has issued more advertisements than the value of the relief offered on petrol.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will not end protest sit-ins and the march until withdrawal of the petroleum levy,\u201d JI leader said.<\/p>\n<p>Hafiz Naeem said that the government has collected 1567 billion rupees levy on petroleum during the previous year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/arynews.tv\/govt-to-dig-trenches-on-kp-islamabad-routes-ahead-of-protests\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The government has decided to dig trenches on roads leading to Islamabad from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) as part of a strategy to prevent protesters from entering the capital ahead of rallies called by various political groups, particularly Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), ARY News reported.
