Following timely action by the security forces, five terrorists were killed and as many as 23 kidnapped individuals were safely recovered from their hideouts.<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"entry-content-asset videofit\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Terrorists\u2019 N-25 Disruption Attempt Foiled\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/iJhJoQCVHnA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Security forces also recovered six trucks, three buses and two cars from the militants\u2019 hideouts.<\/p>\n<p>A large quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosives was also seized during the operation, according to ISPR.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Read more: <a class=\"title\" href=\"https:\/\/arynews.tv\/11-terrorists-killed-2-9-tonnes-of-explosives-recovered-in-kharan-washuk-ispr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">11 terrorists killed, 2.9 tonnes of explosives recovered in Kharan, Washuk: ISPR<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Earlier on September 9, security forces killed 11 Indian-sponsored terrorists during intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Kharan and Washuk districts of Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>According to the military\u2019s media wing, on September 6, 2026, terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan attempted to establish a roadblock in Kharan and disrupt local traffic.<\/p>\n<p>Security forces promptly intercepted and engaged the terrorists, killing eight of them, the ISPR said.<\/p>\n<p>In another engagement on September 7, security forces conducted a planned intelligence-based operation in Washuk district following reports of the presence of terrorists.<\/p>\n<p>During the operation, troops effectively targeted a terrorist hideout.
