QUETTA: Security forces killed four terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan during an operation in Balochistan\u2019s Panjgur district, security sources said on Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The operation was conducted under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 as security forces continued their actions against militants in different areas of the province.<\/p>\n

According to security sources, the operation was carried out in the Aphan-e-Koh area of Prom in Panjgur after reports of the presence of terrorists there. An exchange of fire took place between the security forces and the militants during the operation.<\/p>\n

Four terrorists were killed in the exchange, the sources said, adding that a large quantity of modern weapons and ammunition was recovered from their possession.<\/p>\n

Security forces said operations against terrorists were continuing and would remain underway until the elimination of the last militant.<\/p>\n

Earlier operation near Kalat<\/h2>\n

A day earlier, security forces foiled an attempt by terrorists to disrupt public movement on the N-25 highway near Kalat, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).<\/p>\n

According to the ISPR, the terrorists had established a checkpoint to carry out kidnappings, extortion and vehicle snatching.<\/p>\n

Five terrorists killed, 23 hostages recovered in operation near Kalat: ISPR<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Following timely action by security forces, five terrorists were killed and 23 kidnapped individuals were safely recovered from their hideouts, the ISPR said.<\/p>\n

Security forces also recovered six trucks, three buses and two cars from the militants\u2019 hideouts.<\/p>\n

A large quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosives was also seized during the operation, according to the ISPR.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
