ISLAMABAD: Senate Opposition Leader Raja Nasir Abbas has offered negotiations to the government, urging it to form an empowered team and come to the table for talks, ARY News reported.<\/strong><\/p>\n Raja Nasir Abbas said political people could find a solution to the ongoing crisis if they sit together and hold dialogue.<\/p>\n He called on the prime minister to personally participate in the talks along with empowered representatives.<\/p>\n \u201cPrime Minister should form a team, bring political people together and find a solution,\u201d Raja Nasir Abbas said.<\/p>\n He termed the arrest of members of the National Assembly shameful.<\/p>\n Raja Nasir Abbas said instead of asking why the parliamentarians did not hide, questions should be directed at the National Assembly speaker.<\/p>\n \u201cAsk why the speaker did not stop those who came to arrest the parliamentarians,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi warned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership against staging another sit-in in Islamabad.<\/p>\n \u201cThe government would strictly enforce the law and would not allow the capital or the country to be brought to a standstill,\u201d Naqvi said while addressing a press conference in Lahore.<\/p>\n Speaking about the PTI\u2019s planned protest and its demand for a medical examination of the party\u2019s founder, Naqvi said the PTI leadership was currently in Islamabad and urged it to reconsider its approach.<\/p>\n \u201cI clearly tell the PTI leadership not to push itself into a dead end,\u201d Naqvi said, adding that such political tactics would not achieve anything.<\/p>\n The interior minister said the government would \u201cleave no loopholes\u201d and would deal with any protest in accordance with the law. He also claimed that several members of the PTI leadership did not want to pursue politics based on sit-ins.<\/p>\n Mohsin Naqvi said that if the PTI proceeded with a sit-in in Islamabad, the government would implement the Islamabad High Court\u2019s orders.<\/p>\n \u201cThis time, it will not be possible for them to come to Islamabad and shut down the country for 10 days,\u201d he said, urging the PTI to avoid what such political approach that could harm the party and its supporters.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
