In his first television interview since a judge declared a mistrial in the high-profile murder case against his former wife, Lindsay Clancy, Patrick Clancy discussed the deaths of his three children.<\/strong><\/p>\n In an interview with CBS News\u2019 60 Minutes, Patrick managed to defend his ex-wife against the vilification, blaming the tragedy squarely on serious mental health issues and calling for more understanding of maternal mental health.<\/p>\n A Massachusetts mother, Lindsay Clancy, 32, who is facing murder charges for strangling her 3 children, Cora, 5, 2-year-old Dawson, and 8-month-old Callan in January of 2023, was unable to secure a conviction, leading to her case being declared a mistrial on 4 September 2026.<\/p>\n 11 of the 12 jurors felt Lindsay was not guilty of the offence, and found her suffering with postpartum psychosis at the time of the alleged offence.<\/p>\n One juror held that Lindsay knew what she was doing, resulting in a hung jury.<\/p>\n Subsequently, the foreperson of the jury claimed that the holdout juror had reasonable doubt but still wanted to convict \u2013 a claim the juror\u2019s attorney vehemently denied.<\/p>\n Patrick Clancy\u2019s Account and Remarks<\/strong><\/p>\n Patrick recalled the tragic story of the death of his youngest son, Callan, who was alive four days after the incident and died in Patrick\u2019s arms.
