Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, who also heads the Public Investment Fund (PIF), announced EXOBOT on Monday, CEER\u2019s flagship electric vehicle and Saudi Arabia\u2019s national automotive brand.<\/strong><\/p>\n This launch is a significant step in Saudi Arabia\u2019s efforts to build a modern automotive industry and grow its industrial base.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe launch of CEER\u2019s first vehicles represents another step forward in Saudi Arabia\u2019s progression to build a sustainable and prosperous industrial ecosystem,\u201d the Crown Prince said.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt further enables the automotive sector as a key driver of economic growth, through attracting investments, empowering national talent, and expanding the private sector\u2019s role to further position Saudi Arabia to become a leading regional and global hub for this industry.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The EXOBOT sedan and SUV are the first of seven models that CEER plans to launch in the next five years.<\/span><\/p>\n The lineup will include midsize and compact vehicles with various propulsion options to meet different customer needs.<\/span><\/p>\n The vehicles will be made at the CEER Manufacturing Complex (CMC), which is said to be the largest automotive production facility in the Middle East and among the most advanced worldwide.<\/span><\/p>\n The EXOBOT sedan and SUV were designed and engineered in Saudi Arabia. Their unique look is inspired by the country\u2019s landscape and culture, and reflects the Kingdom\u2019s future ambitions.<\/span><\/p>\n The vehicles were developed to meet global standards, as Saudi Arabia aims to become a stronger player in the international automotive industry.<\/span><\/p>\n By 2034, CEER is expected to add over SR30 billion ($8 billion) to Saudi Arabia\u2019s GDP and more than SR80 billion ($21 billion) to the country\u2019s trade balance, while creating many quality jobs both directly and indirectly.<\/span><\/p>\n
