They praised the readiness of Saudi forces and its ability to defend itself.<\/p>\n<p>They also reaffirmed Saudi Arabia\u2019s right to take measures in self-defence under Article 51 of the United Nations (UN) Charter.<\/p>\n<p>The ministers discussed plans to convene an important meeting of the three countries\u2019 chiefs of staff.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting of chiefs of staff is expected to consider ways of supporting Saudi Arabia under the framework of the joint defence agreement.<\/p>\n<p>Under the Makkah agreement, an attack on one of the three parties is to be considered an attack on all three, according to Pakistan\u2019s Foreign Office.<\/p>\n<p>The ministers also discussed the wider regional situation and stressed the importance of international law, respect for state sovereignty and non-interference in the internal affairs of states.<\/p>\n<p>They highlighted the need to ensure the security and freedom of maritime navigation and reaffirmed their commitment to working together for lasting peace and stability in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and T\u00fcrkiye also reiterated their support for de-escalation and the peaceful resolution of regional crises.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/arynews.tv\/makkah-joint-defence-pact-an-attack-on-one-is-an-attack-on-all-three\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Under the Makkah agreement, an attack on one of the three parties, including Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and T\u00fcrkiye, is to be considered an attack on all three, according to Pakistan\u2019s Foreign Office.
