{"id":80734,"date":"2026-09-26T22:05:09","date_gmt":"2026-09-26T22:05:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/80734"},"modified":"2026-09-26T22:05:10","modified_gmt":"2026-09-26T22:05:10","slug":"ambulance-targeted-in-di-khan-two-rescue-workers-killed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/80734","title":{"rendered":"Ambulance targeted in DI Khan, two rescue workers killed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div style=\"font-size:16px;line-height:1.6\">\n<p><strong>Two rescue workers have been killed after an ambulance carrying people injured in an earlier explosion came under attack by Khawarij in Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Rescue 1122 ambulance was shifting civilians wounded in the blast from Darazinda to DI Khan when it was targeted by gunfire.<\/p>\n<p>Two rescue workers were killed in the firing by Khawarij, while security forces are continuing operations against Fitna al-Khawarij.<\/p>\n<p>The ambulance was carrying casualties from an earlier explosion in Darazinda, where 11 people were reported killed.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the alleged suicide blast occurred at an anti-smuggling peace mela (Aman Mela) police checkpoint on the DI Khan-Quetta Road.<\/p>\n<p>Those martyred in the blast included six police officers, two customs officials, two women and a two-year-old child.<\/p>\n<p>More than 30 people, including police personnel, customs officials and civilians, were also injured in the incident.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the injured were reported to be in critical condition, raising concerns that the death toll could rise.
