KARACHI: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House Karachi, ARY News reported.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The meeting focused on the prevailing political situation in the country, with the two sides exchanging views on the latest political developments.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Mohsin Naqvi also held an important meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari in London and reprotedly conveyed an important message to him.<\/p>\n

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MNA Ramesh Kumar claimed that the party has nothing to worry about as long as Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi is in contact.<\/p>\n

\u201cPPP faces no problem as long as Mohsin Naqvi is in contact, as President Asif Ali Zardari shares a very close relationship with him,\u201d PPP MNA Ramesh Kumar was quoted as saying in an exclusive interview with ARY News.<\/p>\n

Kumar admitted there is no doubt that the \u2018powerful circles\u2019 are unhappy with the PPP and added the party is not worried as long as Mohsin Naqvi is in contact.<\/p>\n

Kumar described the relationship between President Zardari and Mohsin Naqvi as a strong one, suggesting that continued communication between Naqvi and the PPP would help maintain political stability.<\/p>\n

The PPP lawmaker said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was currently operating under a sense of complacency, while the PPP had shown considerable flexibility in dealing with the prevailing political situation.<\/p>\n

Naqvi, recently held meetings with Asif Ali Zardari, especially after the \u2018system-reset\u2019 debate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
