The trading session at Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, closed at 169,600.41 as the benchmark KSE-100 index fell sharply, declining 825.22 points, or 0.48 percent, according to PSX data.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The index opened at 170,425.62 and traded between a high of 170,944.35 and a low of 169,538.23 during the session.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

In the Ready Market out of 496 listed companies, 154 companies advanced, 305 declined, and 37 remained unchanged.<\/p>\n

Trading turnover in the ready market increased to 568,040,396 million shares, compared with 421,015,660 million in the previous session.<\/p>\n

The value of shares traded rose to Rs.20,812,517,064, from Rs. 17,736,266,798 previously.<\/p>\n

Total market capitalization stood at Rs.18,890,040,972,050, down from Rs. 18,961,539,861,362 in the previous session.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
