KARACHI: Police have arrested a facilitator and an accomplice of the main suspect involved in the incident in which girls were allegedly lured to a farmhouse in Gadap Town on the promise of jobs and their mobile phones were taken, ARY News reported.<\/strong><\/p>\n According to investigative sources, the mastermind and manager, who introduced himself as Salman, has been identified as Babar and remains at large. Raids are being conducted to arrest him, sources said.<\/p>\n The suspect had told everyone that his name was Salman. Police said Babar also used a mobile SIM registered in another person\u2019s name.<\/p>\n The incident took place on September 30 in Gadap City, where 59 girls were called to a private farmhouse on the pretext of a job opportunity.<\/p>\n A job advertisement had been posted on social media, after which the girls were told they would be interviewed for an event.<\/p>\n The 59 girls were taken to the farmhouse in two buses for training. Once they reached the farmhouse, they were told that recording was prohibited and that they would have to hand over their mobile phones.<\/p>\n A man identified as Sahil Salman collected the girls\u2019 mobile phones in a bag and later fled from the farmhouse along with an accomplice, taking the phones with him.<\/p>\n Following the incident, all the affected girls reached Gadap Town police station. After the matter came to light, police went to the farmhouse and took its manager Waqas and coordinator Nargis into custody.<\/p>\n Police officials said an investigation into the incident has been launched and efforts are under way to arrest the suspects who fled the scene.<\/p>\n Malir police said a case has also been registered and all aspects and possible motives of the incident are being examined.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
