The trading session on Friday, 2 October 2026, at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) closed at 168,155.49 as the benchmark KSE-100 index dropped 481.36 points, or 0.29 percent.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The index opened at 168,636.85 and traded between an intraday high of 168,854.47 and a low of 167,685.43.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

A total of 493.96 million shares were traded in the regular market, compared with 548.38 million shares in the previous session.<\/p>\n

The value of regular-market trading rose to Rs.17,491,130,287 from Rs.17,053,543,829 previously.<\/p>\n

Market capitalization stood at Rs. 18,725,525,051,750, down from Rs. 18,776,371,608,812 in the previous session.<\/p>\n

Of the 494 companies listed in the ready market, 128 advanced, 321 declined, and 45 remained unchanged.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
