Police in Karachi have completed their investigation into a drug case against Anmol Pinky, six months after her arrest, and have submitted an interim charge sheet to a city court.

The case came up for hearing at the Karachi City Court, where the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) submitted the charge sheet after completing its investigation.

The court accepted the charge sheet and transferred the case to the District and Sessions Court for further proceedings.

The police have shown Anmol Pinky as arrested in the interim charge sheet. According to the document, she was allegedly operating a major drug network in the city that targeted young people and encouraged drug use.

The charge sheet includes the allegations against the suspect as well as evidence that police say emerged during the investigation.

It was noted that Anmol, also known as Pinky, was arrested on 11 May 2026 from a flat in the Garden area in Karachi during a joint operation by police and a federal intelligence agency.

Police said the operation led to the seizure of around 1.5kg of cocaine, along with packaging material, other drugs, and a 9mm pistol with 10 rounds of ammunition.

Authorities estimated the value of the seized cocaine at around Rs.30 million.

Following her arrest, media reports widely described Anmol Pinky as one of the city’s biggest drug dealers.

However, Karachi’s Additional Inspector General, Azad Khan, later played down those claims, saying the media attention had generated a lot of noise and that Anmol Pinky was not such a major drug supplier.
