The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has commenced construction of an important road connecting Degree College to 19-D Road in Baldia Town.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Mayor of Karachi, Murtaza Wahab, has stated that the construction of this key road in Baldia Town would help reduce the difficulties faced by the local population and provide citizens with improved commuting facilities.<\/p>\n The Mayor said that KMC was continuing its efforts to promote recreational facilities and increase green spaces across the city. In this regard, the construction of another park in the Masjid Hasanat Park, Quetta Town, UC-2, Sohrab Goth area, has reached its final stages and will soon be opened to the public.<\/p>\n Murtaza Wahab said that the park being constructed in Sohrab Goth would soon be opened to the public, providing residents of the area, particularly children and families, with a better place for recreation.<\/p>\n He further said that maintaining the pace of ongoing development work in Karachi and ensuring its continuity in the future remained the real challenge.<\/p>\n The KMC would continue its efforts for the city\u2019s development and take further measures to ensure the provision of improved municipal facilities to citizens.<\/p>\n He emphasized that, alongside initiating development projects, it was equally important to complete them in accordance with the prescribed standards and ensure that their benefits reached the public.<\/p>\n The KMC was committed to maintaining continuity in ongoing work relating to roads, parks and other essential civic facilities so that Karachi\u2019s residents could experience a tangible improvement in their daily lives.<\/p>\n He further stated that Karachi\u2019s development was a continuous process requiring sustained attention, effective planning and coordinated efforts by all relevant departments. Development activities across the city would continue, and the KMC would remain committed to providing better facilities to the people of Karachi.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
