KARACHI: Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has responded to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi\u2019s statement, telling him to first prove himself as chief minister instead of becoming a spokesperson for PTI founder Imran Khan\u2019s political agenda, ARY News reported.<\/strong><\/p>\n Reacting to Sohail Afridi\u2019s remarks, Sharjeel Inam Memon said the KP chief minister had been focused on the PTI founder\u2019s mission since taking oath.<\/p>\n He said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was in the grip of terrorism, but the chief minister was more concerned about fighting the PTI founder\u2019s case than running the province.<\/p>\n \u201cInstead of shifting the blame for your failure onto others, answer for the deteriorating situation in the province,\u201d Sharjeel Memon said.<\/p>\n He said using the fall of Dhaka for political point-scoring was an insult to history, martyrs and the nation.<\/p>\n Sharjeel Memon said distorting history and holding the PPP or the Bhutto family responsible for the fall of East Pakistan was unacceptable.<\/p>\n He added that the Pakistan Peoples Party did not need a certificate of patriotism from Sohail Afridi.<\/p>\n \u201cThe PPP is the federation\u2019s chain. Those pursuing politics of hatred and division should first look at their own political role,\u201d Sharjeel Memon said.<\/p>\n Earlier, CM KP criticised the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), alleging that its current actions could lead to \u201canother East Pakistan.\u201d<\/p>\n He said the governor\u2019s meeting on Tuesday was regrettable and condemnable, adding that his government would not allow any attempt to undermine the country.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is a conspiracy to break Pakistan. We have repeatedly said that we stand with Pakistan and will not allow anyone to break it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
