Rawalpindi: Sahibzada Farhan, the opening batsman for the national team, claims that his father once predicted that he would lead the squad as captain.<\/strong><\/p>\n Sahibzada Farhan, in conversation with the media in Rawalpindi, remarked, saying, \u201cI had never envisioned myself as a captain; when I did become one, I became convinced of the immense power of my parents\u2019 prayers.\u201d<\/p>\n He said that there is added pressure when serving as captain; he would strive to deliver his best performance for the country in that role and aim to set an example through his leadership.<\/p>\n Sahibzada Farhan stated that he is greatly impressed by former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed\u2019s captaincy.<\/p>\n The T20 captain expressed optimism about both his individual and the team\u2019s performance, stating that they must play better cricket with courage and that it is always a lot of fun to play in Rawalpindi.<\/p>\n He said he has complete faith in the players chosen for the current squad and that Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are excellent players who can return at any time.<\/p>\n Pakistan and Sri Lanka will start their three-match Twenty20 series on Friday; the second and third matches are scheduled for October 11 and October 13, respectively.
