{"id":87936,"date":"2026-10-14T00:26:55","date_gmt":"2026-10-14T00:26:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/87936"},"modified":"2026-10-14T00:26:56","modified_gmt":"2026-10-14T00:26:56","slug":"ogra-reduces-petrol-price-diesel-rate-slightly-down","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/87936","title":{"rendered":"OGRA reduces petrol price, diesel rate slightly down"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div style=\"font-size:16px;line-height:1.6\">\n<p><strong>ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has reduced the petrol price by Rs2.71 per litre and diesel by Rs0.03 per litre for one day, according to a notification.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Following the reduction, the new petrol price has been fixed at Rs392.66 per litre, while diesel will cost Rs396.82 per litre.<\/p>\n<p>The revised prices will take effect on October 14, according to the OGRA notification.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<h2><strong>Petrol Relief Scheme:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Under the Petrol Relief Scheme, motorcycle and Cingchi rickshaw owners get a Rs.100 per litre discount on up to 20 litres of petrol per month.<\/p>\n<p>Owners of vehicles with engines up to 800cc are eligible for discounted petrol of up to 30 litres per month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to register<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To register for the discounted petrol, applicants should send an SMS containing the following information to 9771: citizens write REG, CNIC number, Vehicle registration number, First word of the province name and Vehicle registration date.<\/p>\n<p>Once registration is completed, applicants will receive a confirmation message on their mobile phone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to obtain the petrol token<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Before visiting a petrol station, applicants should send TOK to 9771.<\/p>\n<p>They will then receive a token number by SMS.
