A man was robbed of his car and mobile phone at gunpoint after responding to a prospective buyer who contacted him through an online vehicle-sale advertisement in Karachi.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the complainant, Usman, a resident of the Tariq Road area, he had posted an advertisement on an online application to sell his 2022-model car. A man subsequently contacted him and arranged to inspect the vehicle.<\/p>\n

Usman said the suspect asked him to bring the car near a school in Block 3 of Delhi Mercantile Society, where he expressed interest in purchasing it but requested a test drive.<\/p>\n

According to the victim, the suspect drove the car to Liberty Chowk, where another accomplice was waiting. The second suspect joined them, and the two proceeded towards Sharae Faisal.<\/p>\n

Usman alleged that both men suddenly pulled out firearms, snatched his mobile phone and forced him out of the vehicle before fleeing with the car.<\/p>\n

Police registered a case at Ferozabad Police Station in connection with the incident.<\/p>\n

The complainant told police that he could identify the suspects if they were brought before him.<\/p>\n

The incident highlights the potential risks associated with meeting unknown buyers through online vehicle-sale platforms. Citizens are advised to exercise caution when arranging private vehicle sales and test drives.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
