{"id":89414,"date":"2026-10-17T12:49:42","date_gmt":"2026-10-17T12:49:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/89414"},"modified":"2026-10-17T12:49:44","modified_gmt":"2026-10-17T12:49:44","slug":"citizen-gets-rs2million-back-with-nccia-help","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/89414","title":{"rendered":"Citizen gets Rs2million back with NCCIA help"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div style=\"font-size:16px;line-height:1.6\">\n<p><strong>The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Multan Circle has recovered Rs.2 million belonging to a citizen who said the money was stolen from his bank account after his mobile phone was hacked.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The complainant, Adeel Haris Siddiqui, said he approached the NCCIA in Multan after discovering that Rs.2 million had been withdrawn from his account.<\/p>\n<p>He said the agency acted promptly on his complaint and helped recover the stolen amount.<\/p>\n<p>According to the NCCIA, the recovery is part of the agency\u2019s efforts to protect citizens from financial fraud and help victims recover money lost to cybercrime.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read Also:<span><em><a href=\"https:\/\/arynews.tv\/cc-connected-to-nccia-for-fast-cybercrime-action\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Police 15 helpline linked with NCCIA for swift action against cyber crime<\/a><\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a major joint step to prevent cybercrimes, the police and the Cyber Crime Intelligence Agency have linked Police Helpline 15 with the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), ARY News reported.<\/p>\n<p>Now, all complaints received on Police Helpline 15 will be directly transferred to the NCCIA.<\/p>\n<p>The Director General of the NCCIA informed that the Helpline 15 systems of police forces across all provinces and major cities have been integrated with the NCCIA\u2019s system.<\/p>\n<p>All cybercrime-related complaints will be forwarded to the respective NCCIA zone through an automated system.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, the relevant NCCIA zone will take immediate legal action upon receiving the complaint.<\/p>\n<p>Citizens can now register their complaints using the nearby emergency 15 system.
