{"id":89941,"date":"2026-10-18T20:50:19","date_gmt":"2026-10-18T20:50:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/89941"},"modified":"2026-10-18T20:50:20","modified_gmt":"2026-10-18T20:50:20","slug":"domestic-workers-parents-claim-son-is-innocent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/89941","title":{"rendered":"Domestic worker\u2019s parents claim son is innocent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div style=\"font-size:16px;line-height:1.6\">\n<p><strong>RAWALPINDI: The parents of Zeeshan, the domestic worker nominated in the Hina Javed murder case, have claimed that their son is innocent and is being framed as the prime accused, ARY News reported.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Addressing a press conference, Zeeshan\u2019s father, Muhammad Arshad, said his son had been working at Hina Javed\u2019s house for around seven months and described the victim as a mother figure to him.<\/p>\n<p>Arshad said he had met his son twice in jail after his arrest. According to him, Zeeshan said he was informed about the couple\u2019s argument on the night of August 20, when Hina was running away and her husband, Faisal Asghar, was chasing her.<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"entry-content-asset videofit\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Rawalpindi Murder Case: Parents of Named Suspect Zeeshan Address Media\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wfbEsGMX3y0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>Arshad claimed that Faisal had scolded Zeeshan and told him to catch Hina. He said the family was informed about Hina\u2019s murder 11 days after the incident.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy son is innocent, and no case has been registered against him,\u201d Arshad claimed, adding that investigators were trying to establish his son as the main accused.<\/p>\n<p>Zeeshan\u2019s mother also claimed that her son had been framed through inducements and alleged that the station house officer (SHO) tortured him during the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>She demanded justice and said she would approach the high court if justice was not provided. She also appealed to the chief justice for help, saying the family was poor and struggled to pay rent. She added that Hina\u2019s brother could question Zeeshan directly if he wished.<\/p>\n<p>The murder case is registered at the Civil Lines police station. Hina\u2019s husband, Faisal Asghar, and domestic worker Zeeshan are currently on judicial remand at Adiala Jail.<\/p>\n<p>Two days earlier, a high-level investigation committee completed its probe and declared Zeeshan the prime accused in the case. The committee said skin particles belonging to Zeeshan were found beneath the fingernails of Hina\u2019s hands.<\/p>\n<p>According to the committee, Zeeshan had a criminal record in other serious cases. It further claimed that he had sexually assaulted Hina and confessed to strangling her with a bedsheet. The committee maintained that an innocent person could not be declared the prime accused under pressure.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Hina\u2019s family has demanded the formation of a judicial commission to investigate the murder.<\/p>\n<p>At a press conference, the victim\u2019s brother, Fahad Javed, said Faisal\u2019s DNA had matched samples collected from four different locations.
