WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has ruled out an immediate military strike on Iran, easing concerns over a near-term escalation of the conflict as oil prices fell.<\/strong><\/p>\n Asked by reporters whether the United States would strike Iran, Trump said, \u201cThe answer is no,\u201d adding, \u201cThere will not be a strike today.\u201d<\/p>\n However, Trump has not ruled out further military action. Speaking at a rally in Fort Myers, Florida, on Friday, he said, \u201cWe may do another little Epic Fury.\u201d<\/p>\n Trump has also said that Washington is not negotiating with Tehran, while suggesting that the conflict could end soon.
