A historic moment for the Saudi-US partnership and travel industry as a historic first in the partnership and global travel industry, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that the Kingdom\u2019s citizens are now officially eligible to enroll in the US\u2019s leading global travel programs: Global Entry and TSA Pre Check. <\/strong><\/p>\n Global Entry is a program administered by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), one of the U.S. Customs agencies.<\/p>\n Under the recently established Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP), the program streamlines customs clearance for international travelers entering the U.S. by allowing pre-approved, low-risk travelers to expedite their entry into the U.S. by using self-service kiosks and dedicated lanes at more than 200 U.S. airports.<\/p>\n Benefits to members include not only the elimination of lengthy immigration lines when arriving in the U.S., but also expedited clearance through TSA Pre Check lanes for domestic and international flights departing from U.S. airports.<\/p>\n It is online-only and can be done through the official US Trusted Traveler Programs website.<\/p>\n You will fill out an application and pay $120 processing fees; once approved under the program condition, you will attend an interview with a person in order to complete your enrollment.<\/p>\n If approved, your Global Entry status will be activated and last for five full years, which is hugely helpful if you are a regular US business traveler, tourist, or a student.<\/p>\n The agreement represents a growing collaborative relationship between Saudi Arabia and the US on pathways to enable travelers to spend more time exploring each other\u2019s cultures and tap into dynamic economies.<\/p>\n Although the process is open to all eligible travellers, the application is subject to strict security screening and compliance with all regulations and policies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
