{"id":94295,"date":"2026-10-29T08:53:32","date_gmt":"2026-10-29T08:53:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/94295"},"modified":"2026-10-29T08:53:33","modified_gmt":"2026-10-29T08:53:33","slug":"cabinet-ready-to-give-kp-govt-another-chance-before-dars-talks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/94295","title":{"rendered":"Cabinet ready to give KP govt another chance before Dar\u2019s talks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div style=\"font-size:16px;line-height:1.6\">\n<p><strong>LAHORE: Federal Minister for Board of Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh has revealed that the federal cabinet was initially prepared to give the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government another opportunity before approving the imposition of emergency in the province.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In an interview with ARY News on Thursday, Sheikh said the decision followed consultations involving Deputy Prime Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, who was mediating between the federal government and the PTI-led provincial government.<\/p>\n<p>According to Sheikh, the federal cabinet was informed during its initial session that the law and order situation in KP was deteriorating and that the provincial government was not cooperating with the federation.<\/p>\n<p>He said Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi proposed giving the provincial government another chance, a suggestion that Sheikh and several other ministers supported.<\/p>\n<p>The cabinet subsequently took a break to allow further consultations on the matter.
