{"id":94847,"date":"2026-10-30T15:48:20","date_gmt":"2026-10-30T15:48:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/94847"},"modified":"2026-10-30T15:48:22","modified_gmt":"2026-10-30T15:48:22","slug":"ayaz-sadiq-seeks-names-of-30-lawmakers-for-electoral-reforms-committee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsvog.com\/ur\/94847","title":{"rendered":"Ayaz Sadiq seeks names of 30 lawmakers for electoral reforms committee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div style=\"font-size:16px;line-height:1.6\">\n<p><strong>ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has written to the prime minister, Senate chairman and opposition leader, seeking nominations for the formation of a parliamentary committee on electoral reforms, ARY News reported citing sources.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to sources, Ayaz Sadiq has asked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, as leader of the house, to nominate 15 members for the proposed committee.<\/p>\n<p>He has also requested Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gilani to nominate 10 senators, while opposition leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai has been asked to submit the names of five members.<\/p>\n<p>The speaker has requested all three to send their nominations at the earliest.
