ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airlines\u2019 (PIA) first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner arrived in Pakistan on Sunday, ARY News reported, citing a spokesperson for the national carrier.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Acquired on lease, the modern Dreamliner landed at Islamabad International Airport from London via flight PK-786.<\/p>\n

It is the first Boeing 787-9 to join PIA\u2019s fleet and the first of its kind operated by any airline in Pakistan.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PIA, Air Vice Marshal Amir Hayat, welcomed the aircraft upon its arrival at Islamabad airport.<\/p>\n

The PIA spokesperson noted that the state-of-the-art aircraft is equipped with advanced in-flight entertainment systems and features a spacious, wide-body cabin.<\/p>\n
