ISLAMABAD: In a high-level meeting held at the Prime Minister\u2019s Office and chaired by Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan Prime Minister\u2019s Youth Programme, the Prime Minister\u2019s Youth Programme (PMYP) signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the International College of Excellence (ICE) Pakistan, to promote access to quality higher education, professional development and skills enhancement for young people across Pakistan.<\/strong><\/p>\n The signing ceremony was witnessed by Chairman PMYP Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan and attended by Mr. Usman Akram, Chief Executive Officer, International College of Excellence; Dr. Syed Shahbaz Shamsi, Director General, Prime Minister\u2019s Youth Programme; and representatives of both organisations.<\/p>\n The International College of Excellence (ICE) is a Transnational Education institution offering internationally recognised foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in partnership with leading UK awarding bodies and universities. ICE is committed to providing quality international education and developing globally competitive graduates.<\/p>\n The Prime Minister\u2019s Youth Programme (PMYP) is a Government of Pakistan initiative focused on empowering young people through its 4Es framework: Education, Employment, Engagement and Environment.<\/p>\n Under this collaboration, merit-based scholarships will be awarded to talented and deserving students and teachers, enabling them to pursue internationally recognised academic qualifications and professional development programmes. The scholarships will cover 100% of tuition fees for the standard duration of the respective programmes.<\/p>\n The initiative aims to create greater educational opportunities for Pakistani youth, supporting academic excellence, professional growth and improved career prospects. Scholarship awards will be made strictly on merit through a transparent selection process.<\/p>\n Beyond scholarships, the partnership will promote cooperation in career counselling, skills development, internships, international academic activities and professional development opportunities for teachers.<\/p>\n This collaboration reflects ICE\u2019s commitment to expanding access to international-standard education and contributing to the development of a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.
