She was also briefed on the project.<\/p>\n<p>Officials said the electric sweeper truck would initially be deployed on Lahore Ring Road for road cleaning and washing.<\/p>\n<p>They added that, for the first time in Pakistan, the fully electric sweeper, also known as a broomer, would be equipped to absorb and remove water from road surfaces.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle can travel up to 70 kilometres on a single charge, according to the briefing.<\/p>\n<p>Its zero-carbon emissions are expected to help reduce air pollution, while its cleaning operations will also minimize dust on roads.<\/p>\n<p>Officials said the electric vehicle would help cut noise pollution because of its quieter operation.
