Javed Abro succumbed to his injuries, while his wife was seriously wounded in the attack.<\/p>\n<p>The injured woman was shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the attackers fled after carrying out the shooting. Officials have started collecting evidence from the crime scene, while an investigation into the incident is underway.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Lanjar took notice of the firing incident in Steel Town and sought a report from the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malir.<\/p>\n<p>The provincial home minister directed police to immediately identify those involved in the attack and bring them to justice.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, two police officers, including a station house officer (SHO), were killed in an attack by militants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa\u2019s Karak district.<\/p>\n<p>The attack took place in the New Karpa area, where militants opened fire on a police patrol.
