The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has demanded that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government clearly state its position regarding the recent arrest of party leader Sanam Javed.
In a statement, PTI’s provincial president expressed concern over the situation, questioning the safety of party members within the province.
“Why are PTI workers not safe in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa?” asked Junaid Akbar, urging that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) KP be summoned to the provincial assembly to explain the incident.
The PTI leadership has warned that such actions against its members in a province governed by its own party raise serious questions about law enforcement and political accountability.
